Tom Pullar-Strecker reports on Stuff this morning that the company's Sydney-based managing director for Australia and New Zealand, Glenn Andrew, told Stuff that the New Zealand business would initially employ about a dozen staff and Dyson was looking for recruits through its website.

According to reports, South Australian treasurer Tom Kousantonis said in a letter that Gupta’s company, GFG Alliance, had recently approached the state government with plans to buy some of the factory’s assets.
Jan 26, 2018 - The world’s largest exporter of dairy products, Fonterra, has announced a $165 million investment in manufacturing plant upgrades in Victoria and Tasmania. Minister for Industry and Employment Ben Carroll said the investment included $125 million to double the size of Fonterra’s primary cheese plant at Stanhope, which will create around 36 ongoing local jobs.
